Cheshire West and Chester Borough Councillor for Hartford and Greenbank.
I am delighted to stand again as a Council Candidate for Hartford & Greenbank. I have been one of your Councillors for the last eight years, and I stood because of my love for the place I have lived all my life.
I care passionately about our environment, and regularly attend litter-picking events hosted by the Hartford Civic Society. I am very proud of my achievements as a Councillor, and my record of listening to and delivering on the priorities of our community.
I have used my member's budget and 'pride money' to fix issues which had become a nuisance to our community. Pride money was spent installing a new footpath in Hartford at the end of School Lane. What was once a muddy trail is now clean and safe for all of us to use.
I spent my member's budget on new wheelchair-accessible picnic benches at Marshall's Arm. It has been brilliant to see members of the local community enjoying family days out by the river and using the new facilities.
I have also overseen the installation of grass block paving near Thorn Wood to prevent damage to the verges by the road when cars are parked.
I look forward to seeing what the future holds for our community and how we can keep working hard for Hartford & Greenbank.
Best Wishes,
Patricia Parkes
