As a lifelong resident of our community, I am honoured to be running for the position of local councillor. Throughout my years living in this area, I have witnessed first-hand the tremendous growth and changes that have taken place, and I am acutely aware of the issues that are impacting the daily lives of our residents.
Since announcing my candidacy, I’ve met so many members of the community, whether that be bringing the conversation to your door or walking around the community engaging with passers-by. Listening to your concerns and ideas, I have gained a deep understanding of the priorities that matter most to you. From infrastructure and public services to development and public safety, I am aware that before now these issues have seemingly fallen upon deaf ears. There has been little success for concerns such as The Winnington Bridge, holding estate management accountable, overdevelopment and much-needed infrastructure which should accompany new developments. I am committed to addressing the needs of our community and ensuring that our voices are heard.
In addition to my deep roots in our area and my commitment to serving its residents, I bring a wealth of professional experience to the table. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of roles, including local government, that have required me to be a strong advocate for the people I serve. I am confident that I can leverage this experience to make a meaningful difference for our community.
Let’s make Winnington and Castle better together.
