Weaver Vale Conservatives saw some good results in the May local elections.
Conservative Councillors retained their seats in Hartford & Greenbank, with Patricia Parkes securing reelection and Martin Loftus being elected for the first time. Best of luck to both of them!
In Davenham, Moulton & Kingsmead Dan Marr was elected for the first time alongside Gaynor Sinar who has returned to local politics after a break.
In Weaver & Cuddington, veteran councillors Charles Fifield and Paul Williams stood down, but the new candidates Phil Rimmer and Lynn Stocks managed to retain the seats.
Finally, our neighbours in Marbury retained all three of the seats in their ward in a nail-bitingly close election.
It goes without saying that this set of elections were tough for Conservatives both in Cheshire and nationally. However, we can be pleased that we secured 23 seats on Cheshire West & Chester council even with unfavourable conditions.
Overall, a good set of results for local Conservatives!
