We are delighted that Jade Marsden will be our candidate for the General Election 2024 for Runcorn and Helsby Constituency.
Jade has campaigned publicly for Runcorn and and Helsby County to be recognised for their vital role in the Northwest, both for technological developments and their importance in the power industry during her campaign to be Liverpool City Region mayor. Being a former high voltage engineer, Jade worked in the Runcorn and Helsby county area supporting a project for remote switchgear.
Jade says
“I understand from my experience doing HV engineering the complex nature of a constituency with towns but also a large rural community.
If we want to support the entire constituency and encourage inward investment we must ensure that the whole community has access to good connectivity in terms of digital connectivity right the way through to road and transport connectivity.
I will make sure as a Member of Parliament I will fight for these issues”
Jade also says
“It’s vital that we promote the best apprenticeships and training to support young people get fantastic results annd employment opportunities. We then need to make sure they are able to stay in the area through making sure they can buy their own home. They will only be able to do this if they can save. The best way to help them save is making sure we focus on cutting taxes.”
