Yesterday was Frodsham's Annual downhill run, which starts from the Cenotaph on the top of the hill with some 250 runners all racing to the finish line in Castle Park, where there is also a festival with music, food entertainment, stalls selling arts and crafts as well as promoting local good causes. Frodsham Councillors Andrew Dawson and Liam Jones were in the race, with Councillors Adam Wordsworth and Lynn Riley were marshalling the race. Councillor Dawson said: "Congratulations and a huge thank you to everyone involved in organising and helping at both the Down Hill Run and Festival in the Park today. I really appreciate all the hard-work and volunteering."
Councillors Lynn Riley, Andrew Dawson and Liam Jones had their own stall to recruit volunteers for Castle Park friends group and asking for ideas for how the Dragon fountain within the park could be used for.
